FMP Goof when filming last week Thursday 27/03/25 -02/04/25
last week we filmed the ending to my amp short film however today ive found out It has no audio due to the fact that the microphone we used wasn't on and that no audio came from the recording either. im going to have to re film this scene again so that I can get the dialogue and correct camera shots in it as im going to have to understand how to use the clip on microphones.
FMP change of plans with filming: 24/04/25
when speaking with TJ he gave me an idea for a fight scene by showing me a recorded short film he made a few years ago and ive decided to film a fight sequence in the studio as the rest of the bulk of my short film as its more convenient to film in there without disturbing others and it will be easier to film without distractions.
Here is the video that he showed me which gave me inspiration for choosing to film a different sequence.
one of the problems when filming my FMP was trying to find the right time to film as I wanted to film action scenes outside in college however where I picked to film was very open and many classes would be going on in the buildings surrounding where I picked to film. I compromised by filming an action sequence in the studio to help save time and also allow no interference or hinderances from others.
Acting demonstration video: 22/05/25
I created this video for anyone acting in my short film so that they could get an idea of what I want them to do when acting in my short film. I wanted to make sure no one would be confused and also so that no one would be asking me why they needed to act like they were holding pretend guns with their hands as I wanted the filming to not have any problems.
Camera Shake issue: 22/05/25
I chose to use the gamble camera stabiliser to help with filming as I knew from my own experience that camera shake was a problem in one of my projects in the past and so I used the gamble to give the camera a stable position where it wouldn't shake or wobble and would allow for perfect tracking.
